Many years ago Jasper had a school named after it. Anyone remember when Maddox Middle School was.... wait JASPER MIDDLE SCHOOL? Why was the name Jasper not good for a school then? Leave the name Walker High alone it carries with it not only tradition but memories of any one that has gone there.

We the alumni don't not want it changed... we the parents of current WHS students do not want it changed... AND MOST OF ALL THE STUDENT BODY OF WALKER HIGH SCHOOL DOES NOT WANT THE NAME TO CHANGE!!!
