I am against the name change because of the history, tradition, & sentiment attached to the name. However, the main reason I am against the name change is because of the way this was handled. I do not believe the voice of the the community was sought after, not was it represented. I believe this action shows a misuse of authority and will not be well received now or in the future.

Leave it alone! My starts if it's not broken don't try to fix it! So many are upset with the name change or maybe not the name change but the manor in how it was done! Sneaky and underhanded!!

Walker County needs change that's for sure.. Changing the name of the high school is not one of them. We should be celebrating a Hundred Year tradition. NOT throwing it away like yesterday's trash.
