I'm a 1963 grad of SJHS. It is absolutely ludacrist to even discuss changing the name. Like the Daily Mail article said, what will it be next!

It's because of liberal ignorance that we are having to fight this battle. Changing the name of a school or banning the Confederate Battle Flag is not going to change history or right any perceived wrongs (most perceived inaccurately). I, for one, am proud of my West Virginia heritage. If you do not like the history of our great state, leave and let the rest of us alone to be happy and proud of the Mountain State!

As a native West Virginian I was raised to be proud our state was formed out of the civil war and we fought for the Union. We were also proud of our native son Stonewall Jackson who fought bravely for the Confederacy.

Please do not get caught up in the wave of hysteria that a few people are trying to stampede the whole body which makes up the schools history.

Why change the name after all these years. Why now? It is always a few that have the right to say so and everyone jumps to make drastic changes that affect everyone..

You can't change history and people hearts by changing the name of a school.

My parents, aunts, and uncles went there in the 1940's-1960's, and now I have been teaching there for four years. My mom loves telling the family that I teach there.

It should stay named stonewall Jackson. Changing it because of this confederate flag hype is just ridiculous. This woman didn't have a problem with it last year, only now when everyone is freaking out about the confederate flag and race.

Absolutely do NOT change the name of SJMS! Political correctness has gone TOO far !! It's time for "We the People" to stand up for what we believe. It's about heritage not hate!!

The people expressing their disdain and outrage, didn't know they were disgusted until the libtards told them to be disgusted.
