Do not try to rewrite history. Understand history. Use your grasp of history to change people to make the future better for all.

They took our Charleston High. Changed it's name and tore down that historic piece of so many lives. Shame.. Let Stonewall stand. It's all some have to hold to... Their high school memories and the great building where those memories were made. So much of our history is being erased. We are proud West Virginians. Keep our pride alive.

Ken: It is not people of color who want this change. I fear it is the "political correctness" police. White though they be, they feel they are superior to all others in their intellect and presume, like the Islanders in Gulliver's Travels, to float above the towns and dictate even the weather. All students who attended the school feel a loyalty to its name. God Bless You and Yours.

Stonewall Jackson was great man. Weather you were from the north or south he was a great part of our history. Why do we easy to erase our history.

I'm not near no ever attended the school but I fully support those that want the name to remain the same. I'm so sick of all these activists wanting everything their way, History should never be changed nor rewritten just because you don't like it. I've only lived here in WV for 21 years, I moved here to give my children (all grown now) a better life than they would have had in Maryland.

this school is named after people in history, these people are not offended by the names they just want to start things if they don't get there way the cry and riot whether it right or wrong, now they want to dig up bones of soldiers, were does it end it will cost many millions to change these names on countless buildings just say no.
