Keep the name as it is, there are years of people who have been through these halls and remember the schools name as such and identify with the schools name through generations of students. Its time the drama seeking few stop offending the peaceful drama free majority and taking the heritage away from us all just so they can draw attention to themselves and inflate their feelings of self-righteousness. Leave the name as it is!

We need to stop pandering to minorities. None of them have ever been slaves and none of us had slaves. Stop the insanity of political correctness and fear of insulting someone. We still live in a democracy and I'm certain the majority want to keep the name. Stop the minority from trying to rule all our lives.

Do not change the name if Stonewall Jackson Middle School. Stand up to the politically correct minority and keep the name. You can't change everything anyone is offended by.
