So stupid to change the name from history because a few people seem to be offended. It has had that name for years. If we change everythign because it offends someone, we will have nothing left!!

If you're offended then please send your children to a different school. Stop whining about every little thing, that's what is wrong with this country. We are tearing our country apart by ourselves. We are our own terrorists'. Terrorizing our fellow countrymen by our nit picking and belly aching. We are sending the wrong message to our youth and next generation to be soft and cry about everything that we don't agree with. Not everyone agrees with everything that someone else agrees with, get over it, live your life and let everyone else live their life too. You can not change history, that's just ridiculous!

It is absolutely absurd to even consider changing the name of this HS! I graduated from Richwood HS in Richwood, WV, but I stand with you to keep your school's historic name.

As a resident of Charleston for years and my son receiving his high school ed from there and it is such a symbol of the West Side please leave it alone. Charleston High School is gone and this is the only one we have left from the good ole days. Please let whomever wants this changed to have a talk with themselves an keep an open mind. L
