The whole idea is absolutely ridiculous, and shamful... I can't believe that there is so much controversy about the confederate flag and soldiers, it's a part of US history.... People really need to get over themselves and realize what country they live in.

We need to stop this political correctness movement and cease censoring our history. If you don't learn from history you are doomed to repeat it. Stonewall Jackson is a name entrenched in WV as well as US history. Do NOT scrub that name off of the school!

Gregg Suzanne McCallister leave our school name alone we take pride in our school and the education it gave us and now our kids. Leave that racist mess down south we all know our heritage and don't need you to put the slavery stuff in it get a life and put that mind of yours around as you opened your mouth and said the "Bigger issues" around here. How about mentoring a child or children that need help or the homeless go set down somewhere ok you got your 15 minutes of fame .

I think it is stupid to change anything civil war has been taught to us and our kids for ever and now everyone is going crazy over this know reason for it more people are going to be hurt. The flag has never been a problem before and the school names have never been so why now . Just something to start trouble. As I said it is stupid just saying.

Keep the name! Changing the name will NOT rewrite history! We have to accept our history in its entirety because it is what had shaped us into the nation we are today. There are things about our history that I do not like, but I embrace them because they have value!
