People need to stop getting offended over simple things. No one has ever had a problem with this before but suddenly everyone is offended by everything. Get over it people, not every single person is always going to be 100% happy with things. Live YOUR life and be happy with what YOU do and stop worrying about everything else!

My dad was a proud graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School. There is no need to change the name of this school. It is history. People need to realize history is history and you cannot change it. If you don't like the name, then leave the area and go to some school that satisfies your nasty choices in names. LEAVE IT THE HECK ALONE!!!!!

Ridiculous! At this rate we are going to erase our history all the way back to Europe! Americans have gotten Way too picky about unimportant things.

Stonewall Jackson was a vital part of our nations history. One cannot erase history by changing the name of a school that has been in existence longer than I can remember. The very mention of this offends me.

I invite you to read Stonewall Jacksons history & his viewpoint on slavery. He was a very deep religious man according to bio's written and he provided bible teachings to slaves which was not very popular among his peers. The civil war was no more different than our most recent wars. They took an oath of office and sometime history will show it might have been the wrong decision by the powers to be...history is powerful for future generations! Name should remain!
