1.) This is ludicrous ! 2.) The KCSB will ignore our petition and try to discredit it 3.) THIS is a knee jerk reaction exactly like the furor to remove the Confederate flag ! This now common trend of succumbing to the PC groups of vocal minorities must STOP !

Leave the name as is. Makes no sense to change it.

Don't change the name of this school! It was bad enough when they changed it from a high school to a middle school! If you change the name of the school you better change a lot of streets statues and GW and a few others.

If this piece of history is erased then every monument, statue mention of SWJ needs to gotten rid of and every monument, highway mention of to Senator Byrd needs to be erased too. He was a KKK member.

So silly! This is a part of history. Why on earth should this bother anyone? About as silly as wanting to rename the Redskins!

Why would we change this name of this school. I just recently graduated from this school and I don't want to see this chafed to meet this women's standards. She substituted my English class a couple of times and I knew something was up. This place is pretty much a landmark and it's been here for years and you all just want to change the name of it now? This is ridiculous. Do what the people wants, not what she wants. Who does she think she is coming here and trying to change the name of this school. I think she should worry about other things in life other than changing the name of a school. She has made a big mistake. She obviously has no life.

STOP MESSING WITH NAME CHANGES THAT ARE FINE! A NAME CHANGE, TAKING DOWN MONUMENTS WILL NOT RE-WRITE HISTORY! SO STOP MESSING WITH IT AND LEAVE IT BE!!!! LEAVE STONEWALL JACKSON NAME ON THE MIDDLE SCHOOL!

This kind of stuff is getting out of hand and needs to be nipped in the bud. What will be next the "hit list" to get rid of or change.

Please keep the name SJ. It has been that name for many years. A lot of us graduated from there when it was a high school!!

Leave the name alone! If you feel the need to be PC...Leave W.Va. immediately...and take all of your intolerant liberal friends with you.

This name does not represent hate. It is a part of our history. Good or bad our history is important. Changing the name will not stop people from hating.

Stonewall Jackson is a son of West Virginia, a great Christian and a major part of our history let us not dishonour him by this outrage of degrading his name keep the name.

Keep the name. Find something better to do with your time than trying to stir things up.
