Byrnes class of 86. I was a member of the football team, baseball team and ran track. Proud rebel. They stopped waving the flag years ago, the General mascot is gone but the rebel name should not change. We are rebels because we have tight community that stands together.

My parents,uncles, sisters ,children ,many friends and hopefully grandchildren are Byrnes Rebels. Changing the name is ridiculous. Please don't cave on this the name isn't hurtful to anyone and if they say it is they just shouldn't go to Byrnes. GO REBELS !
