I used this shuttle from 2009-2012 to the fennel campus. The times then we're about 10 runs per day and now it's down to about 5. The grey hound also only leaves BrAntford at 4:30am, 845am and then not again until after 12pm. Students who have class at 8 am will have to take the 4:30am bus for post secondary education? BrAntford already has a low percentage of educated people, let's take away the college of trades and let's all go to university like Our Mayor Chris Friel in political science and history, become a politician, and never bring GO transit to BrAntford. The train doesn't even go to Hamilton !

Brantford now only has Universities. Although there are some upcoming students with the ability to get accepted, the majority will not. Take away the shuttle you will be removing the opportunity for our future and current students to get a college degree. This will have a huge impact on Brantford. Without a degree in Brantford you basically have 2 choices...temp agency work or welfare. The cost of living in Hamilton vs Brantford is higher and most single mom's trying to better thier lives could not afford it and would also be removed from the family support they have with thier children. KEEP THINGS FAIR....rethink the cancelation!

Some of my class mates take the shuttle to school everyday, why would you cancel it? It's ridiculous, you're making tons of money off these student so keep the shuttles running!

Brantford currently has no colleges only universities...many people including myself rely heavily on this transit system. I just started my first semester at mohawk and use the shuttle daily. As a single parent who budgets everything to be able to attend college this would really have a negative effect on my finances please reconsider this is service is vital to a lot of people.

I think the shuttle bus is a great feature that Mohawk offers. As an Mohawk Alumni I like to see the College going above and beyond to make this college a great place for people to obtain a higher education.

My son rides the shuttle bus frequently and it saves him time and money. The reason in my opinion they do not want the service to continue is all about the MONEY!

Please take a moment to consider signing this very worthwhile petition. Mohawk has completely pulled all of it's programs out of Brantford and moved them to Hamilton. Now they are talking about cancelling the shuttle bus which takes students fron Brantford to Hamilton...essential for these students, who aren't in a financial position to move to Hamilton. This bus is a major factor in helping them...and future students...continue their studies.

Keep this! I know both Mohawk and Laurier students in Brantford use this service! Is there another way to fix this? Perhaps add/remove times? Or possibly conduct a detailed survey? I know I did this as a Policy Research Coordinator this past year to aid in eventually bringing the GO bus to Brantford.
