I have been reviewing the comments left on this petition and the stories regarding the necessity of this transit route are compelling. These perspectives are being compiled into a formal report to present to the administration at Mohawk College. It's only a month or so ago that I dropped my son of in Brantfortd to take the bus when I received a text from him saying he was kicked off the bus due to too many people. He goes to Mohawk but pays the bus when ever uses it rather then having a full pass. Still, the bus was full and I ended up driving him all the way to Hamilton.
I start college in september and I am going to have to move away from my family to Hamilton, a city I don't know at all, with just me and my 2 kids, in order to attend college and better our future. Cancelling the shuttle bus has made college 1000x more stressful and difficult!
I am a single mother who does not drive and does not have the option to move to Hamilton. I am trying to further my education to give my children a better life. If the shuttle bus is canceled how will i get to school?
I do not believe that lack of ridership is the reason. The bus is always full. Taking some of the travel times out would be a betteroption allowing us who depend on this service to continue our education.
I have more classes that i need to graduate, dont punish the students from Brantford , we did not choose to leave the city . without this transportation i and many students will not be able to attend school anymore because we just do not drive.
My daughter is planning to go to mokawk she needs that bus ...now what will she do how will she get back and forth ...brantford needs that shuttle bus to the campus
Without this shuttle, I am unable to get to school. Many others are in the same situation. Bring it back!

much needed service for students in a city with almost 100,000 population who used to attend local in-town campus until Mohawk thought Brantford didnt matter after 25 years of putting bums in their seats
