Unlike many potential Mohawk students, I do have a car but I was looking forward to not having to worry about things like winter driving.

This shuttle is so important for us. How will students commute to and from school if they don't have their own vehicle or know anyone that is able to drive them? How can we continue our education at Mohawk if we can't get there? Not to mention, I imagine there will be new and possibly more students from Brantford who will be going to Mohawk in the fall.

i am considering attending full time rather then through continuing Ed in January 2016, but won't be able to if the shuttle is gone.

why stop the bus when many kids rely on it for transportation? if that is their only way to school why in the world would you prevent the kids from learning?

It's only a month or so ago that I dropped my son of in Brantfortd to take the bus when I received a text from him saying he was kicked off the bus due to too many people. He goes to Mohawk but pays the bus when ever uses it rather then having a full pass. Still, the bus was full and I ended up driving him all the way to Hamilton.

I start college in september and I am going to have to move away from my family to Hamilton, a city I don't know at all, with just me and my 2 kids, in order to attend college and better our future. Cancelling the shuttle bus has made college 1000x more stressful and difficult!

Some people can't afford a car, gas, insurance, or parking. They are too busy trying to make their lives better by paying for an education.
