Without this shuttle, I am unable to get to school. Many others are in the same situation. Bring it back!

I think they should run the shuttle bus. For students applying for January programs, and finding out there's no shuttle service. Extremely disappointing

The decision to stop the shuttle is hurting your students.

It's not just the cost factor. These shuttles take less than 30 minutes from Brantford to Mohawk. Check how long a Greyhound would take from Brantford to Hamilton Bus Depot. Then, wait for a HSR bus, expect perhaps another 20 to 30 minutes to travel up the mountain and perhaps a walk to college from there. Greyhound times are not as convenient for students to make all their classes as well.

This shuttle serves a community which also supports students from Ontario's only school for the blind. They cannot take Greyhound to downtown Hamilton and make their way by HSR. Also, Mohawk offers a program for students with special needs. I personally know students about to graduate from highschool here who would have taken that program but cannot now. They can't drive due to medical conditions, and they are too vulnerable to live on their own in Hamilton. They lack the cognitive abilities also to take the Greyhound and HSR to campus. Door to door service was their only link to Mohawk's program. Also, single mom's (or dads) who want to get off welfare and better themselves cannot afford a car, gas, insurance, vehicle upkeep costs and parking fees at Mohawk. The shuttle is a much-needed link for a lot of students from this area. It needs to be continued.
