Closing campus is going to cause major problems and not going to prevent anything. Students and teachers will be unhappy, attendance will decrease, businesses will be affected, certain classes will not be available, and it will feel like we are in a prison.
I have a problem with the closing campus stuff. A lot of the businesses around depend on the high schoolers wallets at lunch, if you close campus it won’t give kids a chance to leave the school and come back with atleast a half fresh start rather than be stuck in all day and being bored the whole time
It is demisnishing one issue and creating 5x the issues of students lives at montrose High School . No only for students but businesses , costing a lot of money , and demolishing the opportunity to ease our way in to having responsibility , starting with going off campus or driving .
I really don’t think the student body would be safer if the campus was closed. Also I have heard that they would have to build more school for all the students to fit in, causing financial cuts to be needed.
Don’t close the campus. The whole school will be crowded with 1,400+ Students in the hallways, cafeteria, and outside.
What’s the point in closing campus, people are just going to get upset anyway

I think that a closed campus in completely not suitable for small-town Montrose. There are better ways to keep a school safe and holding students behind gates for 8 hours a day is not safe, it’s jail.
