I feel so shocked at the councils proposal of possibly removing the koala and baby when it is a lovely peace of art which has brought nothing but happiness to the community and so many happy smiles to the children at k&s.
I back this petition 100% and fully respect Karen, Steve and Syds efforts and willingness to fight this all the way.
It is quite clearly not an advertisement and has quite clearly made a very positive impact on the community since its conception and will continue to do so if left alone from outside pressures.
So please council back off and understand what this means to the community and the residents of malmesbury who walk past it every day and get to see something a little different than most and alot better than most!
The complaints of one person cannot and should not be of greater value than the backing of hundreds of people in favour.

So beautiful and a wonderful hug in an otherwise sleepy and standard area. It's such a wonderful and fun piece of art that has no advertising what so ever. The children love it and would be so distraught.

Don't the council have more pressing matters to attend to? so K and S are judged for displaying a creative and impressive work of art from a local and good-natured artist for the kids to enjoy, yet the crude 'gang' graffiti that is created by any teenager with a spray can has been a permanent fixture of Malmesbury for years!. what did those koalas do to that person to have such a vendetta?
