Thie first time I saw this, I thought what a lovely thing to do. I drive past it every morning on my way to the pool and it makes me smile. It's simply ridiculous that one person cannot let it be.

I love the koala - it makes me smile when I see it and admiration for the skill required to paint it in the wall. It is art. It can draw tourists to the town and they will spend their money in the shops and cafes. The alternative was a drab grey wall - is that really how we want to be seen in Malmesbury? Keep the colour, keep the art!

I have 2 concerns with this:
1- clearly this is art, and makes the building look far more attractive, fun and interesting. There's nothing that could even remotely be deemed offensive there and I have read numerous comments on how the children find it wonderful
2- is it that quiet in your council that you have nothing else to do than create unnecessary paperwork to remove this. I would prefer the council grew a back bone and politely told the 'complainant' to get a grip and perspective on life

I love the koala 'art'! It makes me smile whenever I go past. Surely people objected to Banksy to begin with! We should embrace this landmark and be proud of it.

I use to live in malmesbury and know they nursery, I used to walk past it often. I think this looks great, is a fantastic idea and more of this should be down across the country. We should be celebrating art and bringing more happiness like this into our communities. Bet the kids absolutely love it! Well done :)

This is art and should be treated as such. Most people enjoy it and children love it! My daughter uses the Malmesbury Koala as a guiding point to the activity zone and admires it every time she walks by.
