The koala bears eyes are so soulful and I told Steve this. My daughter uses this nursery and also loves seeing the painting. I am so proud of Lukes work in town and love seeing this particular piece of art work xx what could it be advertising? ?

It would be a shame for the beautiful artwork to go to waste, we teach our children to be accepting and individual, why not our buildings? it could be foul language and expletives.

It's a beautiful piece of art work. Montessori, a developmental psychologist, said that having beautiful objects in the learning environment helps the children to concentrate and they need to learn to concentrate to be ready for school. If the council force the nursery to pay some made up beurocratic fee for this playful painting then who is going to pick up the bill? The parents are, because the nursery may have to up the fees to cover the cost of the councils demand. Keep childcare affordable for working families in this time of austerity. Don't be mean beurocrats Wiltshire council! Surely you get enough money from all the council tax from the enormous country mansions in your wards! Don't start picking on a tiny nursery!

This artwork is a great addition to Malmesbury. It is also educational. It can not only stimulate conversations among the children about art but also be used to teach them about koalas, what they eat, where they live, what they feel like,
what colour they are etc etc. It really needs to stay. It helps make malmesbury better.
