A petition from the Students and Parents of the International School of Nice regarding the cancellation of the school's annual musical due to the lack of sufficient substitute teachers and funding.
Seeing this much energy behind saving the musical really makes me think the administration didn't anticipate how many people actually care about the arts program here. It feels like we finally have enough momentum to show them that cutting corners on students' creativity is not a decision they can just quietly walk away from.

for me, the play really, really helped boost my confidence and I regard it as one of the main educational factors of my time at ISN. To see it go in my view would be like deciding to get rid of the English department. I honestly got as much from those as plays as I did from any of my subjects.
Education is about character building, and a musical production is one of the greatest tools a school has, at their disposal, to do this; so keep it!

I took part in 3 musicals at ISN while i was a student there, and they were the highlight of my year. All the hard work always paid off. The musicals simply cannot stop!

The musicals and theatre department are on my top 3 reasons why I chose to come to ISN: they are crucial to the ISN culture. They have made the best memories of my higher education.
