Our kids love the ice rink. If the rink closes we will have less activities for our youth. In an area that already doesnt have much for kids to do closing the ice rink will just create more kids being bored and getting up to no good
I think the ice rink Should be kept open en because ice skating brings a sense of peace to people and the ice rink is like a home to people. Nelspruit is one of the only few cities in South Africa to have an ice rink and it is one of the main reasons why our city a place to visit.
As one of the employees who's gonna lose his job by closing the rink its a very sad thing to ever happen because this was not just a place where I found joy in skating, making a lot of friends and also being a skating tutor but also it helped feed my family.
Ice hockey is in our blood. My daughter Cristeline played 3 years in a row for the National Women's Team. We are so proud! Now Christiaan, our son might nog even play his first official game. Please consider our love for the game and save a young dream!
Please do not close the only safe space for teens and children alike. The ice hockey community is growing and this rink has produced the most international stars per ratio of players than any other rink in the country
We love the rink, it's somewhere we can go to enjoy and have fun with friends.

The ice rink save a second home for my kids.. The academy has made a huge positive impact in shaping their figure skating experience. I pledge to volunteer myself in advocating and lobbying for more turn up of community members.
