Petition to President Trump: Uphold the GOP's Pro-Life Platform
Washington, D.C. – Ahead of the Republican National Convention in July, we, the undersigned, urge President Trump to ensure the GOP party platform remains unequivocally pro-life. The leading national pro-life group, Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, has called on the President to preserve national protections for unborn children in the GOP platform.
If the Trump campaign decides to eliminate national protections for the unborn from the GOP platform, it would be a significant error that would damage party unity and diminish pro-life enthusiasm leading up to the election. Most importantly, it would offend God.
Since announcing his new campaign for the presidency in 2023, the pro-life movement has sought guarantees from the Trump campaign that it will preserve the pro-life plank, which for 40 years has invoked the 14th Amendment to oppose the killing of the preborn. With only days days remaining until the platform committee meeting, no such guarantees have been provided. Instead, there are indications that changes may be pushed through behind closed doors.
President Trump, we call on you to:
- Keep the GOP platform strong on life to ensure unity within the party and to energize the pro-life base.
- Provide assurances that the pro-life plank of the platform will remain intact, reflecting the party's long-standing commitment to protect the unborn.
- Recognize and honor the dedication of pro-life activists who have been instrumental in building and sustaining the Republican Party's grassroots support.
By maintaining a robust pro-life platform, you will honor the values and commitment of millions of Americans dedicated to defending the sanctity of life. Let us continue to stand together, united in our resolve to protect the most vulnerable among us.

The silence from the campaign is wearing on me but we are just shy of a hundred signatures now. If we hit this goal right before the committee meets it will signal that we are not going to quietly accept any changes to our platform.

Please, President Trump, keep the GOP's pro-life stance in the platform. This is critical to so many lives and souls, and generations of Americans and can be an example to people around the world. Let this be part of your legacy. Thank you.
The Constitution already protects life, liberty, and property. None of which can be denied without due process. There is no such thing as due process for the pre born humans who are executed before birth. Please clarify that the Constitution ALREADY guarantees the right to life.
The Pro-Life Platform of the Republican party is why I am a registered Republican. If this part of the platform is removed, I will change my registration to Independent. The Pro-Life stance is what sets Republicans apart. It is a vital part of the Republican Party and way too important to alleviate.
The country is divided on abortion largely because the reality of what happens to terminate a pregnancy is hidden from view and put out of our minds. The media and Hollywood favor abortion and actively promote it. Someone needs to speak up for the most voiceless, unborn children.
The pro-life position is not negotiable. A person is a person, no matter how small. By compromising on this most important topic, you will not gain more support from the opposing party, but will instead alienate yourself from those pro-lifers who do support you.
Life begins at conception. Let's protect our future generations.
Life begins at conception and is in the preamble of our Constitution. There is no biological proof of homosexuality. Please examine this and stand for life!

A huge reason I vote Republican is because of the pro-life support. Without life, no other program or law makes a difference . And without respect and protection for the most innocent and helpless people, including the most defenseless child in the womb, none of us can call ourselves civilized.
