The local council is ignoring our messages regarding the decibel limits on the dunes. Call the parks department office today and demand they address our request for a 102db standard.

We hit a real milestone today and the momentum is shifting in our favor. Post this link on Facebook right now so we keep the pressure on the board members. Text three friends who ride and ask them to sign before the next hearing.

If they are going to put a db level cap on the dunes make it 105 max. What are out of staters gonna do bring all of the toys they have to a local police department and test them.

Have seen the DNR continously do the decible testing wrong. They will let the loudest machines run the hill climb... then stop them at the gate and say their too loud to enter the dunes. As someone whos been going to the dunes for 25 years. This decible thing is ridiculous.

I don't think the sound level is as much as a problem and see no problem with the cap around 100 decibels or so. I do understand the issue about "spark arresting" but that can be easily fixed too.
