Petition to Keep the zoning ordinance AS IS and do not add more rooming houses or boarding houses.
A “special request” has been made for Section 4.05 of the Luzerne County Zoning Ordinance (Roomers or Boarders) to have six (6) unrelated persons occupy a dwelling. We are petitioning that No more rooming houses or boarding house are added in our two family residential area in Luzerne.

The scale of this response confirms the community focus on maintaining the current residential zoning standards. I am now finalizing the formal letter of objection to be submitted to the Planning Commission during the next public hearing.

Keep the ordinance at 3. Six unrelated people living together in a 3 bedroom 2 bath home is just unacceptable .
Keep our neighborhood, school bus stop and play ground safe. DO NOT APPROVE A VARIANCE TO THIS ORDINANCE!
our streets are already crowded with cars. changing this rule will just make everything worse for the families living here. stick to the current zoning.
6 unrelated people living in a home is unacceptable.. Luzerne Boro has an ordinance in place and it should stand as written
The ordinance needs to stay as is with only three unrelated people living in the same dwelling.
Let the ordinance get changed in Forty Fort..NOT in Luzerne.

Enough is enough. Keep the limit at 3 like it has always been. No more rooming houses in our neighborhood!!
