This decision not to grand a contact renewable is unacceptable, this guy has been a fantastic model for ulster and Irish rugby, embracing all areas of the local community

Awful decision by the IRFU. They're shafting someone who has been extremely loyal to Ulster. Keep him in Ulster!!! (a devoted Leinster Fan)

Get a grip IRFU - Ruan Pienaar is so committed to Ulster Rugby that he gave up the opportunity of a much more lucrative position with Toulon. He also loves our Province and is well settled here. IRFU -.do the decent thing and let him stay. That's what Ulster Rugby fans want - end of!

Ulsterman through and through let thean finish his career were he loves to play and what he can bring to the team is far more profitable to the IRFU with the expwricane he has to pass on to Paddy Jackson

He has lived and work in Northern Ireland for 7 years. If he wants to finish his career with Ulster, let him.

Loosing Ruan will not just be bad for Ulster Rugby in a team capasity, but ironically will hurt the so called succession policy as there is no greater role molel for the team!

Slap in the face dealt by the Irish RFU to Rcan after he had demonstrated his commitment in the past, turning down big bucks in France . Disgraceful, E4 hang your head in shame.

Succession policy? What about the young people who have taken up rugby in Ireland after watching Ruan that's long term succession not evicting a family from their home!

I was at an ulster summer camp and somebody from ulster came to talk to us and told us the ulster players didn't know what it was like to practice until Ruan came to Ulster and do you want to take that opportunity from the new players coming through???!!!

It's a very strange policy that needs re-visiting. Ulster are not the only team to be disadvantaged by this.

How many Irish players are better after playing and learning from Ruan?
Short sighted decision.
