Worst decision ever for the player, the individual and his family, the team, the league and Irish rugby. Doesn't send a good message out for other NIQ players either that are more than mercenaries.

A great player, who has not only contributed to the club as a player and a mentor but has integrated into the whole community. His family are at home here, his children were born here. This action of the irfu is a travesty!

Leinster were allowed to sign Zane Kirchner to a new deal. Why can't we keep Pienaar. IRFU sucks.

This man is a wonderful ambassador for Ulster Rugby and an amazing player. He has made Ulster his home and he will be a massive loss to the team. We do not have a replacement for his position. In Ulster we would say " Wise up and leave him alone " .

There are exceptions to every rule and this should be one of them. Ruan, the club and the fans all want him to stay. He has made a life here and is a positive influence both on and off the pitch.
