Ruan Pienaar is a valuable member of the Ulster squad his professionalism and personality delights fans and inspires many young people to take up the sport and play. I implore IRFU to revisit their rules and find a way to encourage players like Ruan to come to Ireland to play rugby and stay when they get here.

How is making Ruan and his family leave Ulster a benefit to Ireland Rugby ?What encouragement would this be to any other foreign players looking to come and make Ireland their home .?Young players within Ulster have grown in their game thanks to being able to play along with Ruan.This is how we should be building a great succession plan for our youth and Ireland by letting our young players play with the best .Ruan is a great role model within Ulster in all walks of life .He is an inspiration to mini rugby players - Are these kids not our Ireland players of the future???? By forcing him out of Ulster what lessons are we teaching these kids about the "Rugby Family " ? There MUST be a way the IRFU can make this work for the benefit of Rugby both Ulster and Ireland !!!!!!

Here is a fine man who has turned down big money to move and has put down roots in this community. He is a gifted player who inspires his team mates and is a wonderful ambassador both for his club and his God. Ireland, not just Ulster, will be a poorer place if he goes. Let him stay.

The guy has contributed so much to Ulster. He's settled his family here and developed the young players in the Ulster set up. Just get this decision reversed.
