Keep Irish club rugby strong and competitive against the big spending English and French clubs, otherwise we will lose our Irish players to these leagues!!

I can only assume there is an unbelievable scrum half coming through in the next year that has the experience and quality to lead and that is the reason you won't renew Ruan's contract. Am sure if it was another team within Ireland he would be allowed to stay......

If anyone should go the last guy joining should go and leave Ruan here to play on as he has built his home here and given so much to Ulster

Also, no consideration has been given to a player, who despite having big money contracts offered to him, has devoted the best years of his career to Club and province. Is raising a young family who he is seeking citizenship for which will allow them to brought up and schooled in the city he now calls home. And the promotional work he never shirks which can only be good for Irish clubs campaigning in the Pro12.

Allowing a 32 year old to finish his career in the country he calls home is the right thing to do. Shame in the IRFU.

It's the logical, sensible to do. Until there is a player who can actually succeed Ruan lets not handicap Ulster please

How does IRFU succession policy fit with an Aussie calling the shots. Will Nucifora's contract be extended?

''There are none as blind as those who don't want to see'' Ruan has inspired so many both on and off the field.

IRFU policies are out dated. If it was Leinster I'm sure the rules would be relaxed

The IRFU needs to look closer at their silly rules!
