Wouldn't be happening if he was at leinster. He has helped irish players like paddy Jackson develop ten fold, so for the irfu to say he is blocking indigenous development is ridiculous.

The best way to bring young talent is to expose and work with world greats. They set the bar high and give any hopeful the standard they need to achieve. Bring Connacht into the mix w they are champs and then we have no issue

Keep our Ruan! Disgrace on the IRFU! We have no one better for scrum half and has brought so many players on!
South Africian by birth but his heart is always and forever Ulster!

Joke of a decision. Last time we had a scrum half on the Ireland fringes he ended up at Leinster anyway.

If the IRFU are so set on provinces bringing on young Irish talent in every position especially scrum half why did they give permission to Leinster to sign a Kiwi scrum half this year we not only need but deserve equality.

The IRFU have made an unjust decision to remove Ryan Pienaar, who has contributed considerably more to Ulster rugby than the faceless bureaucrats who made this shameful decision.
