The city council finally folded and agreed to keep the ice complex open all year. Those spineless bureaucrats in Decatur tried to kill our sports programs but they failed because we refused to back down. Stay vigilant because we have to make sure they actually follow through on this promise.

The Decatur City Council thinks we will just pack up our skates and go home when the weather gets warm. We are clawing our way toward 250 signatures to prove them wrong. Put this link in front of everyone you know right now so we can hit that mark and force them to pay attention.

My kids have practice all summer. If this closes we have to drive to Huntsville every single day. Keep it open!

PLEASE DONT CLOSE IT. We need the ice for hockey tournaments in the summer months or the program will just die.

Dumbest decision ever. The ice is the only reason we even go to Point Mallard. Fix your budget somewhere else.
