Keep the Christmas Parade at Night and Enjoy the Lights!

Don't really see the point of a Christmas parade during the daytime where you can't see all the floats lit up with lights.. I won't be attending unless it is changed.

The whole point of the Christmas parade is the lights! I will not be attending the one this year if it is in the day light!

I'm a part of the parade I March every year and when I found out they were going to change it to the day I got extremely upset because the emerald night marching band loves being able to show up and show out with our lights

We want to keep a tradition of many years going by having the parade at night so we can see the lights!!

It's a tradition since I was little and ok 24 now the lights are the only reason we come to see the parade because the kids love the Christmas lights why change something that has been going on for years

In 1986 or 87 it was on a Saturday because of storms on Thursday night. It was awful!!! There wasn’t hardly any people watching the parade. We had Girl Scouts in the parade and actually had candy left. If that tells you something. Revenue isn’t everything. Our traditions are being taken away more and more. This is just one more

Will not attend if it's not at night, no use & no one will be able to enjoy the lights. Will find another city/county parade at night for kids to enjoy

This is so disappointing that Blount County doesn't want to keep traditions alive no more. It's bad when all you care about is money. But traditions is worth alot more that is passed down. It's where family comes to be together and enjoy the parade and Christmas lights. Since you have decided to change it to the day, my family and I will not be coming and alot others will not be there as well. People love the Christmas lights and during the day the parade will not be worth seeing.

Please keep it at night. It gets dark at 5pm now so we can do it any day (preferably a weekend night)

I live in trussville and always come to this one because it is at night
