This petition is to keep all the wonderful teachers who have helped Altamont Creek Elementary school achieve the 2012 California Distinguished School Award by the California Department of Education. Due to budget cuts in California, many of these teachers may not be teaching at Altamont Creek during the next school year. In signing this petition, you are joining us in the mission of keeping these incredible teachers at Altamont Creek.
Please help our students continue to have such dedicated, knowledgeable and enthusiastic teachers. Our public school deserves it!

My son has learned so much this year. It would be a crime to let these teachers go just because of some budget numbers. Keep them where they belong!

Altamont Creek is great because of the staff. Dont fix what aint broken.
