Local community need a charity shop. It's good for shopping parade, community and raising money for charity.

This shop has been transformed since Sue took over its management. The efficiency, attractive layout and turnover of this shop should make Barnardo supportive to this promising outlet. A shop that turns its fortunes around should be encouraged. An effective shop is a great advert for any Charity. Add the fact that it is a great local community focus should also count for something. Also, I do not live in the neighbourhood, but others like myself often make a point of visiting the shop now. It is being noticed more and more. Great for Barnardo's I would say ! Please judge the shop by what it is doing now............. not on its previous management.

Always busy in this shop whenever I visit. Regular customers too. A big part of the community. Charity cake sale there is great too!

It’s a lovely organised shop with fantastic staff especially the manager, people rely on second hand goods heavily in this economy, it would be a real loss to the Bushmead community especially the elderly and parents to youngsters.

Sue, the excellent manager has completely transformed this shop into a vibrantly welcoming place. Why can Barnardo's not recognise the performance of the shop over the last 12 months instead of it's trading history under previous mismanagement.

Barnardos shop at Bushmead is a very important part of our community. Sue has completely turned it around in the last year, and has put so much time and effort into making it a success. All the staff are friendly and helpful and there are lots of people that rely on it being there, especially the elderly who can't get in to town. Please rethink and keep our lovely Barnardos open.

Love this charity shop. Feel like it brings the community together and more people come to the parade because of it. Excellent finds in this barnardos. I cannot believe they are shutting it. So sad to hear this. Please don't t close it.

The manager at this shop is one Barnardo's should be proud of. She has successfully run an efficient, cheerful business for your charity over the last year, and should not be accountable for the previous years losses. She has proved it can be successful.
The shop is popular with both locals and Luton residents generally, who show through their donations and purchases that they want to support the valuable work Barnado's does.
Please give Bushmead a chance to continue donating and buying here.
