We, the concerned citizens of the City of Orchard Grass Hills (including Poplar Hill) do not want our students to be redistricted to a different elementary school. OGH students have been at Kenwood Station since it opened and are part of the core of the Kenwood Station Community. To move OGH students from KSE would decrease socioeconomic diversity at the school and sever long standing community ties. Finally, Kenwood Station Elementary School is a top 25 school in the state of Kentucky. Moving our kids from KSE to an elementary school with a lower ranking could lower our property values.

The school board is finally feeling the heat because of the massive momentum behind this movement. They are clearly rattled by how quickly our neighborhood has mobilized to protect our children and our property values. Keep the pressure on these officials until they back down completely.

Please allow our neighorhoods (Poplar Hill and Orchard Grass) to remain together at Kenwood. We make up the bulk of the student population and the stability of keeping our students there would benefit both the children and the staff.
We just moved into this neighborhood a year ago, the main reason being our kindergartener will go to Kenwood Station. Please do NOT pull the rug from under us.
My daughter just moved there partly because of the school district, I don’t think you’re taking into consideration the financial burden many people like my daughter have made to be in your scores and then take that from them
OGH is a terrific neighborhood that allows its kids to interact seamlessly. These interactions carry over to their school environments and nurture strong relationships and superb learning. Please keep OGH an integral part of KSE.
Please do not separate the Orchard Grass Hills and Poplar Hill neighborhoods. These children are a huge part of Kenwood Station. There have been plans shown that leave out these subdivisions and Work fine that way. Please. My daughter went to Oldham County preschool last year and started Kenwood this year. If she has to switch again next year it will be THREE schools in as many years!! I can’t do that to her. Please!!
Keep the children of Orchard Grass Hills at Kenwood Station Elementary.

Please keep orchard grass and poplar hill children in Kenwood Station Elementary school! My babies and so many other children in this neighborhood love this school and would be devastated if they were split up and ripped out of their school and sent somewhere new! It isn’t fair and my kids have struggled with anxiety of just getting used to their school would suffer tremendously if they had to start over somewhere new
