This petition was born on June 6, 2017 after learning that Mr. Forrester will not be returning to CCI.
After the HUGE DISRUPTION in the Music Department with the sudden departure of Mr. Hamlin, the Music Students have come to Love & Respect Mrs. Forrester. We have built an amazing relationship with her and want her to STAY. With the ongoing recent upset the CCI Music Department has faced with the media, OUR Department needs is Stability and Nurturing. That is what Mrs. Forrester brings to the CCI Music Department, not to mention her amazing Talent.
By signing this Petition we are asking that the ADMINISTRATION of CCI & SIMCOE COUNTY DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD hear our voices.

I am truly overwhelmed by the way so many of you have come forward to back Mrs. Forrester. This momentum belongs entirely to the students and families who recognize her value. I never imagined we would reach this point and I am continuously humbled by your dedication.

My grandson Kadyn has done amazing with this music program. He wants to continue next year and I am sure this is due to Mrs Forrester !! Please stay !!!
I am a student who has a passion for music, with Mrs.Forester, my passion just grows that much more, she is an amazing and inspiring role model in my life and I don't know where I would be without her. Please let her stay!
Mrs Forrester is amazing and I know the kids in the music department would love her to stay. She has helped them grow musically, emotionally, personally. I would love her to stay
I'm not in the music program as much as the other students at CCI, but I agree that she should stay.
An enthusiastic, effective team player with a great ability to connect with students.
I would like to thank everyone that took the time to sign this petition. Sadly, this will not work. Simcoe County District School Board has strict contracts, unions and protocols in place. It is too bad that we were all allowed to grow so close to Mrs. Forrester for one full year. I am going to leave this petition active, if anything to show Mrs. Forrester how many people care about her and how many people she has touched. Thank you again!
A teacher who has had such an amazing, positive impact the way Mrs Forrester has is worth fighting for - please keep Mrs Forrester at CCI!

Mrs. Forester is a wonderful teacher. The dedication she puts into the music program is outstanding and within one year she has won the hearts of students in the program and none of us want to see her leave.
