Sad, this reminds me of the Louisiana School Board punishing children for speaking French. Please Keep the French Teacher.

Never get rid of a teacher who teaches our native tongue in Cajun Country. Our language is already dying off. So please keep the French teacher.

My dayghter is 37 years old and was in French at Edgar Allen Middle in Lafayette as a child. She learned and went on to receive a Master Degree using her French in school and as a musician. She has travelled all over the world and recently was nominated for a Grammy Award with her Cajun French album. I can promise you she would not have been able to do this sitting in front of a computer screen. Her teachers were vitally important and their incouragement could never be replaced with a brick wall......KEEP THE TEACHER !!!!!

There is no way a computer can replace a teacher, especially not to teach a foreign language. That school has done just fine with out a wall up to this point I say leave well enough alone...
