How odd that the parish that touts itself as being "the most French-speaking in the state" doesn't see the irony in eliminating the French language program in their schools and continues to withhold the gift of French Immersion to their own children.

I think learning French is way more valuable and important to students than a wall. Adults who are bilingual are more successful when finding a job.

who cares about a wall that we do not need. erath if horrible for trying to let go of a teacher in order to have more money to build a wall. the wall of a waste of money.

Madame had such a huge impact on me during high school! She is an amazing teacher and there's is no way that learning for the computer is anyway better than learning from an amazing teacher and human being as Martine!

Madame is always so supportive of everything we do. She is always at the marching band competitions and we all get up at the same time and yell, "Hi". It always makes her smile, and I would not want to trade that smile for a wall, no matter how important that wall is.

With translating technology today, online French courses are exceptionally easy to cheat on. In my experience as a student and teacher, students simply use their Chrome browser to automatically translate their online exams into English. Online courses are not equivalent to, and are no substitute for, an actual teacher in a physical classroom.
