It is our sincere hope that Lindsay Ruoff will remain as the SUN site supervisor at Grout Elementary. She has been at Grout for 10 years in varying roles and really knows the students, families and staff. Her presence in the school is vital to the continuation of the successful SUN programs at Grout Elementary. Her loss would be Significant for the school and its SUN programs as well as all the people here who benefit from SUN’s programs. For our Drama Programs at Grout, Lindsay has been an invaluable help and supporter. Please keep Lindsay as the Site Manager at Grout Elementary!

Lindsay has made such a difference in our daughter's life and in the lives of SO MANY children. She works tirelessly for them and connects with them in ways that few adults are able to. Please do everything in your power to keep Lindsay in her position. Thank you.

Lindsay Ruoff is a treasure to Grout students and families. She treats the students as individuals, and builds relationships that span years and classes. She made a huge, positive difference in my child's experience at Grout. As a parent, I see Lindsay's dedication EVERY DAY in her teaching and in her regular interactions with kids. She is an anchor and a beacon for so many kids at Grout, and losing her would be devastating.

Lindsay is a member of our family. She taught my daughter to read in Kindergarten, and now she gets to keep working with both our children in the sun school program. She has helped our family directly on many occasions. She also connects very strongly with many children who's parents are much less involved in their kids education. It is those children I worry about most. Particularly the fact that our community at grout has a large refugee population. Those kids, who have already seen their families and lives torn apart, will lose one more trusted adult in their life if you allow Lindsay to be replaced at Grout. Please do everything in your power to prevent this from happening.
Thank you for considering this unique situation.
Most Sincerely,

Lindsay Ruoff is an incredible guide, coach, teacher & friend to the students, parents and teachers of Grout Elementary. Her leadership provides an enriching and positive experience at the SUN program. Students get extraordinary attention and the personal connections she makes assures me that the after-school care at Grout is the best and our kids are lucky to have—and keep—such an enthusiastic and devoted member of the Grout community. Please save Lindsay Ruoff as Grout’s SUN site manager.

Lindsay is invaluable to our school community. She is part of the life blood of the building. Her skills and connection to children and family cannot be replaced by someone new, no matter their skill or “seniority.” While she should have seniority with her 10 year track record and EA experience, the technicalities of employment have yielded unfair treatment. She is supportive to teachers, staff, and students, lending a hand and building connections well beyond her job duties. Our students love her and will suffer loss if she is made to leave.
