We need this shop in the village. We are encouraged to support independent shops but greedy landlords are making it hard for them to survive.

People move to the village for all the conveniences the high street has to offer, it is a village that has pretty much has everything a town has and sufficient enough not to have travel anywhere. Removing these features is a definite loss and reduces the attractiveness of this area. The street should remain as it is with good selection of quality shops to suit everyone.

Les Ward is one of the reasons I was attracted to moving to Histon, it's an independent shop with great produce and great staff, offering a real alternative to clonesville shops.

I feel passionately that this important village asset must remain open. It's an essential part of the fabric of our high street and a superbly run independent small business!

Would be great to keep this very valued greengrocers open. But as they say they need to be making a profit so I suggest everyone tries to support and shop at this business more. The rent seems extremely high for a building which is substandard and very shabby. Surely the landlord should be looking after the building and the tenants for such a high rent!
Really hope we manage to keep Les wards open.
