The school administration confirmed this morning that the memorial brick will remain in its place at the stadium. We have secured written assurance that the brick is protected from any future removal requests. I appreciate the 553 people who maintained pressure to ensure Krystal remains remembered as intended.

Please sign this petition to keep Krystal’s memorial brick in the wall at Colton High School’s new stadium. From what I am being told, the Olvera side of her family is requesting the school remove it. The brick was purchased by her friends, who loved her deeply and want to keep her memory alive. Her husband Andrew and her Ramirez Family are grateful to her friends and honored that the brick was placed in the wall to show the City of Colton’s love for Krystal. This really needs to stop. Krystal Ramirez loved her husband daughter and her loved ones. She was loved by many and it's really sad that we have to sign a petition. Krystal would not be happy. Let her rest in peace.
Please leave it up as a testament of the love that her friends and family have for her. It's a beautiful tribute that her mother in law and children can visit when they are growing up.
