I don't personally know Carson, nor do I know his family, but I heard of his story on the news here in Las Vegas after a memorial was painted on a wall for him.
What i do know is Carson got really sick on May 15th and ended up in the hospital where he died 3 days later due to Leukemia that no one knew he had.
The neighbors in the neighborhood where his memorial is painted, are wanting his memorial to be painted over claiming it is "vandalism" and it doesn't belong. I am a father who lost his daughter, and I know how hard these times are. I am asking that people find it in their hearts to sign this petition for this family. I want to take this to the City of Las Vegas, so they will leave his memorial up, if you live in Vegas you know of all the "graffiti" in Naked City that they say nothing about. I want this memorial to stay, in memory of Carson and to spread the light on Childhood Cancer, please sign this and share!

What an awesome memorial. I used to live in Vegas. At least if you want to call it Grafiti it has a beautiful meaning rather than the crap that Grafiti "artist" write that no one understands other than gang members. It is cathartic for the family!
The artist is not only paying tribute to a young child gone too soon but is also being an advocate to make others aware of Childhood Cancer.
My son had cancer. Just finished his chemo 7mths ago. If it was him I would want people to know of his disease. Let the family keep their memory of their baby boy.
If people could only experience a fraction of this family's pain, they wouldn't dream of taking away any bit of comfort from them
This memorial needs to stay to remind everyone of childhood leukemia. It's not just some tagging. There's important meaning to it and it's beautifully done. Carson is my niece & her husbands son so this hits home. Rest in peace Carson. Sweet angel.

Keep his mural which reminds us all how devastating child cancer can be. It is not graffiti but amazing, positive art work!!!!! Shame on the neighbors who should be so heartless.
