The momentum behind this effort proves that our community will not allow a doctor's office inside our elementary school. Now is the time to email your school board representative to ensure they understand our opposition to this plan.

My biggest problem is that we don't no the staffs family if there mentally ill or sex offered or so I fear that something could happen to one of our children and sorry but I'd hurt someone to say the least and that we as parents have enough problems with keeping our children from getting sick let alone sick sending sick people to the school , children preschool to 5th grade being that you get sick easier anyways I don't like being fearful that something going to happen to my children while at school and also that it will be easier for someone to kidnap children they just pretend to be a teacher or something to one of the younger children my kids are 5 and 6 yes I think maybe at a high school but not elementary school there to young
Does the school do background checks for parents...aunts...uncles...grand parents that want to eat lunch with their children in the school??? Maybe they're sick too. This is a great way for teachers to save time for their healthcare needs and of course people have to use the lame excuse of safety. Dr. Beard has been volunteering her time on the Ontario sidelines for almost 15 years...not to mention volleyball tournaments where she returns the money she is paid back to the school. The title of this petition is offensive...shame on all of you...
why are you against this.........We have clinics in 2 of our highschools in McDowell County, the parents can fill out forms and if their child is sick, they can go down go to office and fill out form and ask to go to clinic.....when clinic ready for them, they then call them out of class........and as a teacher..it is really convenient.....our clinics see only school children or staff during until 2:00 then after that, they then see the public.....its great.
Bring the police officers back. We do not need this part-time Dr. Office and the extra traffic in our school!
This is insane! As the rest of the country is doing everything to provide more security for our children, Ontario is opening the doors to not only strangers but sickness!

i am a student and i dont want more germs. but she dont think about us or parents she just thinks about herself and the money she gets every year. this is the worst idea we shouldnt be aloud to do that

This is not okay with me. my child goes to this school and I dont like this. Our children's safety is at risk.
