Please do not stop the curbside recycling. I would be willing to pay for the service.

While I, due to the size of my household, may only use the service twice a month on average...it's not right that the entire community suffer by having this very valuable, much needed and long overdue service reduced or, God forbid, eliminated.

Recycling is good for the environment which is good for our city. We need to keep our recycling program and educate our citizens about the benefits and encourage everyone to participate. The President of the United States encourages programs that protect the environment. I would think our city officials would want to do the same.

Irondale's recycling program is an asset to the city, not just in cost-saving and reducing waste, but in the way our city is looked at by potential residents.

It would be a serious backwards step for the city of Irondale to reduce the curbside recycling program to pick up every two weeks instead of every week. The recycling program is beneficial for spotlighting the city in a positive light. I fully support 1) the recycle program to remain picked up once each week and 2) regular trash pickup to be reduced to once per week

This is standard that has been set for the city that is a good thing. It has to dampen the load on the landfills and be cost effective if procedures are looked and and adapted to save the cost of dumping and filling landfills plus the effort to save and recycle. What is wrong with the leaders at city hall. This is the decent and profitable thing to do. Weekly as scheduled as folks are not going to want to try and store for two weeks at a time. I have two containers now. One metal and plastic and one boxes, papers, etc. Irondale is suppose to progress not regress.

Recycling has been a part of our family's routine since the early 70's. So happy when Irondale joined the movement but so disappointed to see how little this important project means to some of the city leaders.

Reducing pickup schedule will increase people throwing items into the landfill. I support garbage pick up once a week and recycling pick up once a week, if changes must be made.
