We have been going to Ian Beveridge for over twenty years and have only had positive dealings with him, even when some of the appointments have been extremely stressful and upsetting. We cannot think of a more professional vet.

I am shocked to hear this news about Mr Beveridge. He has been my vet for over 20 years and I have at all times found him to honest, trustworthy caring and efficient. I have read the case notes and feel a lot of the evidence is not reliable and judgements have been made as Mr Beveridge chose not to attend hearing. I am sure the whole situation is very stressful. Obviously I also understand the stresses felt by the two customers, and I am sorry for their loss. However, this could have happened at another vet practise and I certainly don't think it justifies the decision made.

The most caring, understanding and trusting vet I have ever met. A vet who understands your animals needs and who works in such a professional manner. I would not want to go to anyone else. And after losing to of our most dearest family dogs Ian Beveridge dealt with them both as if they were one of his own.

Ian has looked after our family dogs for over 20 years. He's such a caring vet and not once have we ever had any concerns.

Ian Beveridge has looked after my pets for over 25 years. He is the best vet ever. Ian is a brilliant vetenary surgeon and a wonderful caring man. His nurse, Maria, is also a wonderful, caring person

1 year later we are still so upset following the death of our Maine Coon cat, Bob which could have been avoided if Ian Beveridge had shown a degree of veterinary competence. Ian has now moved out of the limelight but I do hope that if anyone sees him in one of his frequent haunts such as Tesco in Heswall that they give him a jolly good kicking for being such an appalling vet for so many years. That man has caused us so much sadness and I truly hope he rats in hell.

My family has used Ian Beveridge for more than 30 years which has been fine. Our Maine Coon cat called Bob lost a huge amount of weight when we returned from holiday 12 months ago. Ian Beveridge refused to take blood tests and did not detect what proved, upon a much needed second opinion, to be a 3 inch tumour. I spend more than £2,000 having the tumour removed but sadly Bob died when the cancer returned 2 months later. This might not have been the case if Ian Beveridge had simply undertaken a blood test which would have quickly identified the problem. If he had done so Bob might likely have survived. We were desperately sad when Bob died and I will never forgive Ian Beveridge for refusing to carry out a blood test which the other vet did within 5 minutes o examining Bob. I understand Ian Beveridge has or had a drink problem but this does not exonerate him from the negligence which caused the loss of Bob. Ian Beveridge was stuck off by the RCVS for a previous case of negligence which resulted in the unnecessary death of a pet. I hav been assured by the RCVS test if Ian Beveridge applies to be reinstated that his application will be refused. My family still miss Bob a lot and I really hope Ian Beveridge appreciates the consequences of his incompetence.
