My family uses the trails in Tecolote Canyon multiple times a week. It has become increasing unsafe to walk without being accosted and the the fire hazard is very serious.

Please keep Tecolote canyon safe for everyone! Illegal camping should be addressed immediately so fires are not started accidently that could cause devastating damage to the canyon, the wildlife, and the humans living close by.

I am 69 years old and have lived in Clairemont next to Tecolote canyon my entire life. I used to play in the small creeks catching frogs as a child and go for walks on the trails as an adult. After getting continually harassed by the homeless people I no longer feel safe and have stopped going for walks in the canyon I have loved for 69 years.

Clear the canyons for the wildlife and for fire safety. It would be devastating to the community if a fire started at a camp and spread to Clairemont neighborhoods.

Senior apartments built .in 1960’s mostly all wood off gennesse, north of 52. These camps in the canyon below if caught fire could go thru our community of 16 acres very quickly. Please clean it up to keep our rentals going up in flames from a canyon brush fire. Thanh you!

There needs to be a better way, but the fire and health hazards are not deserved by others in the area. There are now demarcated areas for these people, and these should be adhered to.

I live on the canyon’s edge and I am fearful that homeless encampments may eventually cause a fire in such a flammable area! It is illegal to camp there so please extract them ASAP!

Mini joggers and walkers, both male and female jog alone in this canyon. It is very unsafe to have homeless, which are very often angry. Drug addicted and armed. Please getthem the hell out of there!!

I agree...this is very dangerous. Tecolote Canyon surrounds a good portion of the Clairemont area. It's only a matter of time before it burns. Voices speak louder than one, please sign the petition.
