Keep Homeless Camps Out of Tecolote Canyon

They are dangerous and ruining our children’s feeling if safety. They are scaring a lot of women and sleeping in areas we want to walk our dogs with needles on the street

This is a community area that needs to be protected for the use of the community. We cannot afford the fire hazard either

Fire danger and theft must be stopped

My home is right on the canyon at street level near the mouth of the canyon. A couple was camped on the other side of my fence this weekend and they were aggressively harassing people who arrived to hike the canyon and terrifying them.

We live close to the south entrance of tecolote canyon. we love the canyon and want it to be a safe place.

Encampments in our canyons are definitely a fire hazard for residents living near canyons. Firetrucks can't get into these areas easily, if at all. The same rule for the city (2 days to vacate) should also be held up for the canyons. 2 nights of possible fires is scarry when I'm sleeping. We are also unsafe from stolen goods from our property and break-ins. Enforse the law.

I leave very nearby and I run in this canyon regularly. I no longer feel safe.

All for supportive services to solve homelessness, but the fire danger and ecological damage have priority. If the canyon burns, so does Clairemont/Linda Vista/Bay Park. Fire prevention should be the priority for all Canyon adjacent residents.

Homeless camps are a fire hazard and safety issue

Please get rid of the homeless menace in our city. Taxpayers have rights too.

Homeless individuals are safer and are provided more necessary services at city-provided sites. Local residents also have rights - to safe, sanitary and uncluttered streets, parks and sidewalks.

Enforce no camping in Tecolote canyon

Please start protecting the tax paying citizens who deserve to live fear free from fire/aggression dangers

It appears the homeless have more rights than us tax paying citizens. I feel unsafe in my own neighborhood. San Diego is not “America’s Finest City” anymore.

Please remove ALL encampments immediately!

Safety for everyone……. Set up fenced in tent cities for anyone choosing to live outside. Tax payers are paying for all of the city divisions….. this is a necessary expense that would ultimately save tax dollars!

Is not sanitary and is an eye sore for the community and visitors from other states…

There needs to be a stop to these homeless encampments all around San Diego.
