The issue that I am addressing is the extinction of gun laws on campus. Since April 23, 2014 people are allowed to carry concealed firearms in bars, churches, government buildings, and some school campuses with permission. Carrying guns on campus is not the best decision because it will increase crime on campuses. Parents send their children away to be safe at an institution, and safety is not guaranteed with this law in place. If students can legally carry concealed firearms, then what is the point of the campus police? Students already live in a hostile environment, with peers who face depression and anxiety. Let's not bring violence to our institution!

my kid starts in the fall and i dont want them around guns. this is crazy.
colleges are stressful enough without weapons involved. keep our classrooms safe.
guns have zero place in a place of learning. leave the protection to the campus security.
its terrifying how common sense has gone out the window lately. campus should be a safe zone plain and simple.
BAD IDEA. mixing alcohol and parties with guns is just asking for a tragedy to happen. leave them at home.

i pay enough in tuition as it is. i shouldnt have to worry about a stray bullet while studying in the library.
