The classroom is a place of learning and growth. Students and teachers alike should feel safe to express their ideas and tread in new intellectual waters and feel safe from physical danger, as well. There is no reason to allow guns onto college campuses.

The volume of support has reached a level that enables me to secure a formal meeting with members of the Higher Education Committee. I am currently drafting a briefing document that outlines our core objections to the existing legislation for that discussion.
