I've lived on McBeth since 1996. Would love to see the GSLC should it close it doors be utilized and stay a functioning part of the community.

It is so important to support and maintain small community hubs, particularly in rural areas, to encourage collaborative communication and resource sharing. This allows us yo express the cultural diversity of our area, rather than having all representation centralized in the urban areas.

This is an excellent example of grassroots democracy in action and I applaud Randy Moore for taking a stand, following his heart and his faith and trusting in the rightness and goodness of his neighbors and community to join with him in his quest to bring light into the darkness. Thank you for your efforts and dedication, Randy !

I know being only thirty years a resident makes me a new comer, but Good Shepherd and it's congregation gave us the encouragement to plant roots, pitch in and become part of a vibrant community.
Recent years have taken many treasured neighbors who lived, loved and honored the spirit of fellowship and stewardship of our unique and beautiful bit of the world -
We need community now more than ever - far more than having just another entitled entrepreneural something or other bulldozing their way into...

The church property has served an important role in the community as a meeting center and resource for youth camps/classes. Please consider keeping it open for these purposes.

You are so right, Genie ! It is all I can do to share with others how worried I am that this treasure might be lost under the cover of secrecy ! Please repost this on Facebook in places you know others will want to be made aware and join us in letting our voices be heard. Maybe someone knows a good attorney who might help us ?

And we want to see that this neighborhood and our larger community will benefit long into the future from our work on this right now. Thank you for being part of this effort ! I'm not so good at Facebook and I would sure appreciate it if you or someone else here would post this on the Spencer Creek Community page !
