The stocking cut will affect Lake Michigan fisherys. It will ruin a world class ice fishery as well as shore fishing in harbors and tributarys. Help save fishing on Lake Michigan!
There are multiple strains of brown trout stocked in the lake guys...this particular strain did not survive well and was a poor investment. Better surviving browns will continue to provide a nearshore fishery. Please get your facts straight.

As a person who does only shore fishing, like most of my friends and family, taking away these German browns will definitely ruin shore fishing on lake michigan. It seems all the DNR is ever worried about is helping out charter boats. Try thinking about the people who don't have hundreds to spend on a 5 hour trip on a charter. It would be nice if the DNR would actually try to help shore fisherman for once. Definitely would consider doing other things besides fishing once the shore fishing goes down hill, it's already hard enough catching fish when you have 1000s of charter boats out there keeping every single fish they catch, the limit also needs to be lowered to either 2 or 3 trout or salmon mixed bag. There's no need for 1 person to keep 5 trout or salmon in a day,

Reduce stocking of salmon, keep stocking of trout. Don't increase daily bag limit.
