The Board of Education is finally feeling the heat because this momentum shows they cannot ignore what the community actually wants. They need to stop playing these political games and renew Dr. Witherspoon's contract immediately.

Everything is finally moving in the right direction. why fix what isnt broken?
Keep him. Best thing that happened to this district in years.
He has my vote. Been watching the schools improve under his leadership.
Finally some real progress. dont let him leave now!!
Too much turnover in this district. Just let the man do his job and stop playing games with the kids futures.

Dr. Witherspoon is the first person to actually care about the kids in bham schools in a long time. keep him on!
